Amy is the office manager at AZHYPE and has been coaching volleyball for over a decade! Her passion for the sport began at the young age of 8 years old and it continues to grow year after year working with athletes who share the same passion and drive to learn and grow. 

 From 2017-2018, she was the varsity assistant at Shadow Mountain High School. Amy was the head JV coach and varsity assistant at Notre Dame Prep from 2019-2021. In 2022, she became the varsity assistant at Sandra Day O’Connor HS where she stayed for 2 seasons and is now back for another season with the Eagles. 
 

Amy has had multiple GJNC appearances and many podium finishes over the last decade. She strives to bring out the best in the athletes she trains and pushes each athlete to get to the next level.

Tiana is a semi-pro volleyball player in the VLA with elite experience as both a player and coach. A former collegiate team captain at Northwood University, she later coached at the JUCO level, helping athletes move on to Division I programs. With over 10 years of private training, she coaches all ages and skill levels, focusing on fundamentals, confidence, and mental toughness.

Began his coaching career in 1997 for the Adult Volleyball at North Phoenix Baptist.

DT started his club coaching career with Phoenix Joys in 1999 as Head coach for 13-2 and 14-2.

He specializes in developing young athletes (girls and boys) and is well respected around the valley.

Over the years, DT has also dabbled in Beach, Jr Boys and Adult Volleyball.

From the ground up, DT pioneered the Developmental Programs (CVP-Club Volleyball Preparatory and Sunday Skill Training), Friday Night Volleyball Draw , 4x4 Junior League, Sunday 35+ Adults Drop In and various tournaments (AZ Finals, AZ Kickoff, Junior High Friendship) that continues to strengthen AZ Region volleyball interest for all age groups.

For the last few seasons, DT managed the ALL STARS project where potential athletes were recognized and assembled for after season out of state or in state competition.  He also conducts small/large group clinics, private lessons, leagues and indoor/outdoor tournaments since 1996.

From 1997 to 2020, DT has successfully coached many age groups from Developmental to 18’s. Teams that were coached by DT often earned a bid to National and received medals in the process. Other than top teams earning bids to National annually, DT has personally coached and qualified his teams of 12-2 (twice), 13-2, 14-2 (twice) and 16-2 to compete in the Girls Junior National Championship (formerly Junior Olympic Volleyball Competition). Proudest moment: 3rd place podium finish in National Division with Arizona Sky 14 Gold in 2017.

In summer of 2021, DT assisted a High Performance (HP) team and helped the team take second place in Florida.

He assisted ASU women volleyball club teams as a volunteer coach in 2021-2022.

Since 2020, DT has stayed on at Sky Academy (formerly AZ Sky VBC) for one year, coached briefly at Livewire, Beach House and the last 3 seasons at Atomic Volleyball Club.

Rebecca started playing volleyball in the 4th grade. She played club for 6 years at Dayton Juniors and Miami Valley Juniors in Dayton, OH. Rebecca played at Carroll High School and then at Spalding University in Louisville, KY where she was a middle/opposite. She has been coaching for over 15 years, varying from youth development programs, high school, and club programs in various states.

Rebecca has coached at the following: Centerville High School (Centerville, OH), Dayton Juniors VBC (Dayton, OH), KiVA (Louisville, KY), Lansing Area Volleyball Club (Lansing, MI), Vortex Volleyball Club (Layton, UT), Avalanche VBC (Scottsdale, AZ) and Paradise Valley High School (Phoenix).

Her hobbies are supporting her 4 kids and taking them to all their activities and sports!

Coach Aliya brings nearly a decade of playing experience as an Outside, Right Side, and Middle Blocker, along with 2 years of coaching. She specializes in working with hitters and passers of all levels, focusing on athletes ages 10U–16. Her passion lies in building strong foundational skills and confidence in young players.

🏐 Rev Hype Squad Coach | Beloit College & Bethel University Alumni

I was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana, and I began my volleyball career in sixth grade—falling in love with the game right away. During my junior year of high school, my team finished the season 34–0 and won every regular-season tournament. I earned All-Tournament Team honors during both my junior and senior seasons and competed on an elite club team that captured multiple championships.

I continued my volleyball career at the collegiate level, starting at Beloit College and finishing at Bethel University. I played every position except libero, with my primary role as a pin hitter.

Outside of volleyball, I also competed in track and field. I graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Physical Education and have been teaching for over four years. I currently teach at Westview High School, where I also serve as the Varsity Head Volleyball Coach.

In addition, I have spent the past four years as a club coach and co-director, and I currently coach with AZ Hype/Revolution. I have also been running private lessons for the past six years, training athletes ages 10–18 across all positions beginner to advanced.

Athletics have played a major role in my life, which is what inspired me to pursue coaching. I have over five years of coaching experience and have led three teams to conference championships winning two of those titles. My goal as a coach is to motivate, encourage, and challenge young athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the court.

Hi, I’m Brooke Kern! I’m a former player and longtime volleyball coach with a passion for helping athletes grow their confidence, skills, and love for the game. I graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 2013 and was part of the 2011 State Championship volleyball team. I also played club volleyball for six years with AZ Storm Volleyball Club.

Hi, my name is Madduxx Goron. I currently attend Ottawa University Arizona, where as a setter I helped lead our team to a top 10 finish this past season. I previously attended Mountain Ridge High School. I currently co-head coach 18 Apex and 15 Iron.

Volleyball has been a major part of my life both as a player and a coach. I’ve had the opportunity to grow through high-level competition, learn under great coaches, and now help develop athletes of my own. My goal is to build strong fundamentals, game IQ, and confidence in every player I work with.

Hi, I’m Delaney Micensky, a former Valley athlete and 2023 graduate of Agua Fria High School. After earning my Master’s Degree and serving as a Graduate Assistant at the University of the Southwest, I returned to Arizona to continue pursuing my passion for volleyball as both a coach and player.

I played four years of collegiate volleyball as a setter at the NAIA level and currently compete as a semi-professional player for Las Muertas in the Volleyball League of America (VLA).

My coaching journey began in 2019, working with both girls and boys club volleyball programs. Since then, I’ve coached at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. I served as the Head Coach of the Peoria High School Boys Volleyball program from 2023-2025 and currently coach both boys and girls volleyball at Canyon View High School. I also coach with AZ Storm Elite and AZ Legacy Volleyball Academy, where I am the Head Coach for 17 Crimson and Assistant Coach for 18 Apex.

Volleyball has always been a major part of my life. My passion is helping athletes build strong fundamentals, develop their volleyball IQ, gain confidence, and become the best version of themselves as players, leaders, and people both on and off the court.
